Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding legal agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Vonnda LLC, doing business as STL Stash, based at 475 Coloma St. Suite 285, Sausalito, CA 94965 (“STL Stash,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the STL Stash website, web application, desktop applications, APIs, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, signing in, uploading files, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.

STL Stash provides software-as-a-service tools for organizing, managing, annotating, and selectively sharing 3D printing files (including but not limited to STL and 3MF files), along with related metadata, thumbnails, and user-generated content. Features may change over time. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at our discretion, with reasonable notice for material changes.

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

3.2 Account Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as needed.

3.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

3.4 One Account Per User

Each individual may maintain one personal account. Sharing credentials is prohibited.

4.1 Definition

“User Content” means all files, data, metadata, text, images, notes, and other materials you upload to, create within, or share through the Service.

4.2 You Retain Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. We do not claim ownership of any file or content you upload.

4.3 License Granted to STL Stash

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, display, generate thumbnails of, and run automated analysis on your User Content solely for operating the Service. This license terminates when you delete the content or close your account.

4.4 No Training of AI Models on Your Content

We do not train any generative AI model - ours or any third party's - on your User Content. AI features operate on your files for your benefit at the time you use them.

4.5 Sharing Features

You may share Prints or Collections with other users. Sharing grants recipients the access you specify for as long as the share remains active. Sharing does not transfer ownership.

By uploading, storing, or sharing any User Content, you represent and warrant that:

1. You have all necessary rights to upload, store, organize, share, and use the content.
2. Your use complies with all applicable licenses (Patreon, marketplace licenses, Creative Commons, etc.).
3. Your content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
4. Your content does not contain viruses, malware, or unlawful material.
5. If you share content, you have the right to grant that access.
6. You will not use the Service to violate any law, including by sharing pirated or unlicensed files.

STL Stash does not pre-screen User Content. You bear full responsibility for ensuring you have rights to anything you upload.

You agree not to:

1. Upload or distribute content you don't have rights to.
2. Redistribute paid content (e.g., Patreon STLs) to non-paying recipients.
3. Access another user's account without authorization.
4. Reverse engineer or extract source code from the Service.
5. Use bots or scrapers without explicit authorization.
6. Resell or commercially exploit the Service.
7. Send spam, harass users, or distribute malware.
8. Circumvent usage limits, quotas, or security measures.
9. Violate applicable law in any relevant jurisdiction.

The Service, including software, design, branding, and underlying technology, is the property of STL Stash and protected by intellectual property laws. The “STL Stash” name and logo are trademarks of Vonnda LLC.

8.1 Free Trial

We offer a 10-day free trial with no credit card required. You get full access to all features and 5 GB of storage during the trial.

8.2 Subscription Plans

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Pricing is disclosed at signup.

8.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before renewal. Cancel anytime from your account settings.

8.5 Price Changes

Existing subscribers receive at least 30 days' notice before any price change and may cancel before it takes effect.

8.6 Refunds

• Trial: No charge, no refund needed.
• Monthly: Full refund within 7 days of charge.
• Annual: Pro-rata refund within 30 days.

8.7 Taxes

Prices do not include applicable taxes unless stated. You are responsible for applicable taxes.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9.3 No Guarantee of File Preservation

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOUR USER CONTENT WILL BE PRESERVED, AVAILABLE, OR RECOVERABLE. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own independent backups. STL Stash is not your backup solution.

9.4 No Guarantee of AI Accuracy

AI output is a starting point and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated suggestions.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STL STASH WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES.

Our total cumulative liability is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless STL Stash from any claims arising from your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written DMCA notice to [email protected] including identification of the work, the infringing content, your contact information, and the required good-faith and perjury statements.

The Service relies on third-party services including cloud storage, Stripe, email providers, and AI providers. We are not responsible for the actions or availability of these third parties.

14.1 Termination by You

Cancel your subscription and close your account anytime from settings or by emailing [email protected].

14.3 Effect of Termination

Your User Content is retained for 14 days after termination, then deleted. Backups may persist for up to 90 days.

14.4 Data Export

Export your User Content before terminating. We are not obligated to provide exports after account termination.

14.5 Service Discontinuation

If we discontinue the Service, we will provide at least 90 days' notice and offer a portable data export.

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We may modify these Terms with at least 30 days' notice for material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and STL Stash. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.

BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS, UNDERSTAND THEM, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM.

• I understand that STL Stash is not a backup service and I am responsible for my own backups.
• I represent that I have all rights necessary to upload and share any files I put into the Service.
• I understand that STL Stash's liability is limited as set out in Section 10.
• I have read the Privacy Policy and agree to it.
